We headed out to Amistad this morning in search of some bluegills. we fished from 10 to 3. The day was beautiful. We almost got ran over a few times by a parade of glitter boats. For a minute i thought there was a fire, turned out it was weigh in time. .





We also caught non target species.







All fish caught on JIGLYF jigs. Fish were released to swim another day.

I have only fished Amistad twice and did not do all that great. Loved the scenery and had a good time on the water. As always you and Gar 1970 catch a wide variety of fish. What type of bait did you catch your drum on? Also nice Small Mouth.

When we first started going out to Amistad we wouldnt do good at all. We would use crank baits and nada. Now the only thing we use is our jigs and they are working great. I caught that drum on a purple with pink collar jig. Thanks for the reply Laker One.
