Need to get rain gear for teenager for upcoming High School tournament trail.
He might get 2 years out of the suit.
Any descent stuff out there for a fair price that will do the job?
I already know about Huk, Orvis, Drake, etc. name brands.
Just wondering if there are some other cost efficient stuff out there knowing it's going to get max 2 years of use.
Thanks in advance.

Froggs Toggs will give you the best bang for your buck.
WalMart is usually cheapest to buy it online.
Depends if he needs cold weather or warm weather rain suits

Just depends on what you want to spend. I'd look in the classifieds plus Facebook Marketplace also. My son and I have Gill and he used it all through the high school fishing and it has been great but not cheap. I bought it a size big which he can still wear and was great when it was cold out with layers. They are pretty adjustable so he should get many years out of it, just buy a bigger size for the growth. He's going on 4 or 5 years of using it and it should get several more years out of it.

Frogg toggs had some on their web site on clearance. I bought a jacket and bibs mailed to the house for just over 100 bucks for both in the Java Toads..

To the person making their first post, not trying to be a jerk. Folks get on here and ask some of the strangest questions. “About 54,000,000 results in less than a second”. Haha. Seriously not trying to be a jerk especially to the guy's first post.

About $600 after tax and a few crank baits. They last about 5-6 years of very heavy use.

My recommendation for a teenager would be to buy the H2O from Academy or the Huk raingear. Both are very affordable and will keep you bone dry. I've had the more expensive Simms, Gill, and the Cabellas Guidewear. All are fine, but I don't think they are really any better than the H2O gear. Maybe they last longer, but for a teenager that advantage will probably be irrelevant. I went through this exercise of buying some new rain gear a few weeks back for my son. I guess it's mostly made in China because many brands are almost impossible to find right now. Especially in the normal Medium, Large, and XL sizes.

Went to Academy yesterday, nothing. Ordered online. Hope it's not Covid delayed with shipping. We shall see. Thanks for your help.
