Put my money in low risk stocks the last five years of working. Took my money completely out of stocks when I retired! No regrets at all.

If Trump loses buy stock in the gun and ammo companies first thing Wednesday morning. I have made a 40 year career in the gun and ammo industry and I will give you all a stock tip. Don't buy stock in the gun and ammo industry. It rises and crashes faster than any stock out there. Loser

Put my money in low risk stocks the last five years of working. Took my money completely out of stocks when I retired! No regrets at all. What have you invested it in that gives a decent return?

I don't have enough in the market to worry about it...:) I really don't care who hey elect President....it's the olds in Congress I'm concerned about. We can't take much more of the geriatric crowd in Congress that should be retired.

I'll be lurking in the shadows ready to buy what everyone else is selling off Ain't nobody got time for that. We have more important stuff to discuss. We taking Cinny +6, Over 43.5 and wrap that parlay up tonight? I haven't even looked at the line on that game yet. But after witnessing that epic 4th quarter Bengals bungle last week. If the Bengals are favored. It may be a safe bet to take Baker and the Dawgs 🤣 Upon further review. I don't think the Bungles cover the spread. I definitely don't think they will go over 43. I would expect that to be closer to 30 combined. Two terrible teams. IMO I hope Derek bet the don't pass line

I pulled some of my S&P500 positions a week ago, harvested gains from my big buy moves in April. I also re-balanced my portfolio a bit more into defensive funds. That's about as active as I get in investing. Not really afraid of the election, I just think the market is overvalued right now.

It would be nice if you could pull out everything for a certain time frame and NOT have it counted as capital gains on your tax returns. The goal isn't to "stay out" the goal is to avoid a potential disaster scenario!
Same thing would have applied to those who managed to pull out early Feb before the tank and then got back in March/April time frame. At least IMO.
