Box appears well made and solid, holds jigs securely in place, latches close well with a defined snap and doesnt come open unless your opening it, waterproof gasket and seals seems to work (held underwater for about 10-15 seconds).
If I absolutely had to find something to complain about I guess it would be the plastic lid hinges amd whats going to happen if I happen to drop it right on a hinge in my metal boat and whether they would hold up, but that's going to be on every box I would think. These seem pretty sturdy at least and if had to guess would say they would hold up to at least a few butterfinger incidents before an impact break, and if it does then im only out $12.
I would like to use it on the water a time or two, but my first impression is this is a pretty dang good box for the price point, and might fit what your looking for Slabbed Silly. I have included pics below for reference, and plan to place an order with you for some jigs when you are taking orders again, mighty fine looking jigs sir. 😁

P.S. This is my first attempt to post pics on this forum, hopefully they show up

Those are exactly what I am looking for! Thank you.

Chris

I have had several of those boxes for years now. HEADS UP!!! Don't leave them in direct sun on a hot day for long. The foam on the inside shrinks up and gets hard. Jigs won't stay in it any longer. Since I toasted one, I stow the others away in my bag or below deck. I can say...the larger boxes you have Chris are bullet proof!!! Thanks for everything you do!!!!

Thank you Bill!! I wish they had a smaller box like the big ones I use, too.

I also remember S.K. Doing a how to video to build one.

You could reach out to him.

I built this and love it! Thanks S.K.

Ya, one about ½ that size would be great. I don't need to take all the jigs out every time I go out, but they get all jacked up if I put them in a bag or something.

Hey Chris! If you ever get time, I really liked some of your old 25-30 slot Facebook raffles where you still end up with a pack of jigs with an entry regardless. It always seemed like a solid idea if you’re not too swamped.

I'm going to do another one towards the middle of October. I need to get the CAT state championship and some other pro staff obligations taken care of first. I'll be sure to make a post here, too.

Chris
