I heard you asked Dave 'Where I've been'. Don't you believe the BS answer he gave you (Okay, maybe just a little of it).Been busy doing marine electronics installations, mounting trolling motors and even installed a T Top last night for a customer. I also started building custom single/double graph mounts and have been making/selling the snot out of them (anything related to the Garmin Livescope is off the hook right now). I've been averaging3-4 installs per week, making the various products I offer and still doing my full-time job so I have been swamped but the cheddar has been real good. Some of the installs and products I have done recently;

Custom Graph Stands (to raise the graphs up so you don't have to bend over so much)

T top, Garmin Install, LiftSaver TM Mount and LiftSaver TPM I did the last few nights.

I have 4 more installs waiting to do the next week (waiting on graphs and trolling motors) and one to do tonight.

So, how have you been? Doing any fishing?

Dave2 said you were very busy but he never mentioned it having to do with any electronics work. I think it was something about a start up of a new LGBTQ fashion magazine or something like that.
Good to hear you're doing ok sir!

All-Star Marine? I'll tell Dillon to do a good job and make sure he washes all the skunk out of it.

You still need to get down here and jump on the boat to catch some crappie. Just let me know when you get a chance.

Wait, what? MR. DIY is actually letting someone else work on something?

I did take it off the boat myself (easy), but I looked at the composite shaft and how well it was epoxied to the power prop motor and decided that I wasn't going to get the heat gun out. (there is one sketchy video on youtube on composite shaft repair)

roflmao I've tried it a couple of times and then took it to someone that knew what they were doing.
By the way, if you just disconnected it from the mount, be really careful when you put it back on. I can't remember if it needs to be stowed or deployed when you put it back on but if you do it wrong it'll break the little aluminum latch. Yes, yes I did.

Thanks for the heads up on that latch, looks like it could be fragile and took note of it (sort of) when I removed the shaft.
It’s spring loaded, so I removed it with it almost completely in the locked/stowed position (maybe 2 degrees from fully stowed position) Then put it back in fully stowed position while the boat sits.

When this guy puts the Fortrex TM shaft back on, he has it about 25 degrees short of fully deployed (16min mark in video), using a Velcro strap and an extra set of hands

Thanks for the offer, can we go to the secret spots you won't show Dave?
Those are some good looking builds, are you tig or mig welding them?
