Heading to CC this weekend and I would like to target Crappies. Any advice would be wonderful, are bridges a factor now? Thanks

The crappie are on the main lake brush in 12-20 feet of water. You will need live minnows! You can pinch the head off and thread it on a jig head. Or use the live minnow on an Aberdeen hook with a weight about 8” above the hook. The bite is slow. I have done well this week on this pattern. You can catch them with jig heads or hand ties but not near as well. I spoke to a couple guys fishing the bridge and they claimed it was a lot of dinks. Fish on the shallower side early and the deeper range late! Good luck!
