Decided to do a little bank fishing here on Ray Hubbard. Wanted to try somewhere new so I came out to Terry Park. Its is a nice little park that could actually produce some good fish in the winter months.

End up with 3 blues and 2 channels. Missed a good one though...had slime all up and down my line.

You think that’s bad CDUBB you need to come fish with me on Lewisville sometime. It’s home to the most inconsiderate fisherman in the state. I get boats swarming me so close in the summer they cut my long lines with their propeller and break off my planer boards. They get so close I could cast well beyond them. They buzz around me like flies on fish from June-August. This summer was the worst it’s ever been. I would have 2-3 boats on me before I could even get my lines deployed they would be scanning my run directly in front of me. Unbelievable! . Not because I’m some great fisherman but simply because they see a big center console boat all rigged up and they figure I must know something. I don’t know jack! I had to tell numerous guys that would pull up and spot lock right in front of my boat that I’m pulling boards through here with my trolling motor. Sometimes I had so many guys come set up on me that I was forced to reel everything up and move or quit fishing all together. Those guys are used to fishing right on top of each other and don’t understand the space we catfisherman require to operate. They think everybody is a sandbass fisherman. This time of year the sandbass guys quit swarming me as I move into water that they aren’t fishing. I do get a few catfisherman set up around me but they always keep their distance or come introduce themselves. I actually enjoy fishing around other catfisherman and I love hearing the victory yells when someone hangs a good one. I’ve made some friendships from meeting guys that were drifting next to me. If I’m on good fish I call my Catfishing buddies over to come join the party. They do the same for me. Cool video and keep up the good work amigo!

I know El Gato. I do not fish Lewisville until the fall/winter when all the wake boats and jet skis are done for the season. I have some good spots on Lewisville thatwill produce some good cats. Just have to be patient until that time comes which in a month or so.
