So earlier this year it was reported here that the park bumped up it's entry fee from 5$ to 10$ due to a big increase in visitors. Does anyone know if that is a temporary or permanent increase, and if it's temporary is it still at 10$ and when will it be decreased back to 5$ ? I know it's not much, but If I can go to Canyon lake for free or Medina for 10$ I will probably take the free park (I have an inflatable kayak so I don't need a boat ramp).

I'd be more worried about getting a treble hook in an inflatable kayak then a ramp fee.

As far as I know, the price bump you are talking about has been in placed for a good while now. Not temporary.
