 Crappie question for new Kayak fisherman

I recently acquired a small kayak and I want to learn to fish out of it. My question is when will Crappie be gathering up around the bridges on hwy 31 just outside of Chandler? Neches River and Kickapoo Creek? I have heard around November or December? Will someone please give me some advice?

I can't help with that area but I bet there's plenty on the Flat Creek bridge right now.
