It was all good! Been too long since we hit the water so little man and I got after the slabs some this weekend. Haven't fished since the ACT tourney so it was good to get back after them. Fished areas I haven't fished in a while and lots of new stuff and caught crappie off all of them. Docks were getting some fish on them but not loaded up yet. Still a little early there. Little man got up on me early on the timber but I pulled away from him later in the day. Some solid fish but no 2 pounders. Man fall fishing is fun! Jenko KR signature series with Limits tackle hand ties and orange and chart split tails put em in the boat. Docks we used Constant Pursuit Outfitters Thump Chubbies in White Hot. I'm sure it would have worked on the timber and brush as well but I never changed baits from what I had on from the Quachita River and they were biting it fine so why change whats working!

I have some limited weekend and weekday availability in Sept and Oct and the fishing and weather is fantastic if you want to go get some!

Thanks ya'll! It was fun! He was hard to wake up that morning but glad he did! In his defense we stayed up too late watching westerns! Momma was out of town and he had to find out who killed Liberty Vallance!
