Was looking at water data site says Waxahachie is still 3.87 low this morning as it has now for a couple weeks .
This can’t be right anybody been.

I went Friday after the first batch of rain and it was almost 4 foot low. I don’t know if it came up after this last rain. The water data sites are usually pretty accurate though.

Went Monday and had a little bit of a time getting on and off the west ramp. its low and there are some sketchy looking trees poking out. be careful.

We didnt get a whole lot of rain.that lake blows anyways, or I cant figure it out.

It is supposed to be 3.92 low today. From what I understand, normal rainfall doesn't really do much for a lake's water level. Unless it's a tropical storm.

Read somewhere that Hachie Lake didn't have big bass, due to the alkalinity level of the water? It was awhile ago, but something like that. Can anybody prove this myth to be wrong?

I got a 6 pounder out of there just last month. FIshing isn't that great but it's close for me.

False: “Waxahachie has no big fish”. True: “I can’t ever find them”! 😜
