Been making some road trips and fishing some of my favorite places. Overall the fishing as been good. I am fishing hill country creeks, and rivers. Been catching Large Mouth Bass, Guadalupe Bass (Lots), Bluegill, Redbreast (Lots), Rios (Lots), and some Channel Catfish. Fish have been caught mostly by grass beds in 4 to 6 feet of water. Overhanging tree limbs are holding fish as well. Believe it or not most fish have been caught between 11am and 2pm when the temperature is on the rise ,especially the Rios. Just about all the spots I fished, a long walk was necessary. Fish were all caught using the "Bait of Champions" worms. All were released. Fishing the Texas hill country. It just don't get any better! fish

Nice. Love the hill country waters. Looks like the Llano river with all those rocks.

Yea rub it in Jamie! What took me a year to get certain records, takes you and Rick aka Catyakker five minutes to break. bang I guess that what the saying means "Records are made to be BROKEN! whip


Side Note: It's always GREAT seeing your friends fishing very hard and when they catch that record fish the smiles and congratulations are simply "icing on the cake" ! cheers
