I owe my 16 year old a guide trip. He wants to go to fork in October. Y’all have any recommendations? He really wants to go with someone in a Phoenix but I’ve told him you can’t pick a guide based on a boat alone. HA HA! He is ate up with bass fishing and buys way more expensive gear than I do.

Longer trip but you might consider Rayburn instead. Almost as good a chance for a big one and better numbers. And if he wants to fish with a really good guide out of a Phoenix, you can’t beat Darold Gleason.

If he really wants someone in a Phoenix....then Jason Conn or Justin Margraves.

I agree - Darold Gleason. I used him on Toledo Bend (Fin & Fearher Resort.Lodge) for PB 7.8 LMB. I told him he was dyslexic so it was 8..7!! Well, 5 minutes later, he caught 8.2 & definitely not 2.8# & not dyslexic!! If Darold is busy, call Dave Truax who i use also.
