A good friend of mine was at our local Walmart looking at the clearance sales going on in the fishing tackle section. Numerous baits and soft plastics were 50 to 75 percent off. He said that he could not find any sinkers or pan fish hooks. He also said that the rod/feel rack was just about empty. He further said that most of the good bass baits were already gone.

Same thing going on at the Mineola walmart. Was there today. Fishing section has been decimated, especially hooks and sinkers.

Weights, hooks, and rod/reel combos were in very high demand over the spring/summer months. Things should be getting back to normal. More people took up fishing during the virus.

Picked up a few carton of worms at my local Walmart. Looked like they had plenty of rod/reel combos back on the racks. Sinkers, hooks, were another story. Side Note: It all ways pays off to keep stocked up!
