Another 50 by 1:00 pm, all in the timber, I’m seeing the thermocline rising as we are catching them 10’-0 down in the timber, but still catching them down to 20’ as well. Not as many giants today but we still aren’t having to many below 11inches. Only 5 more weeks of this then there gone! We even caught some good ones on jigs, white and chartreuse jokers. Another nice haul David. Where are they "gone" to in mid-October?

I really don’t have a clue. I pick up the bass tackle and don’t come back till Memorial Day, I hear stories of them moving on to the brush piles by the dam.
