The Ray Hubbard Bass Cub will be having our sixth members only tournament of 2020, Saturday September 12th on Cedar Creek Lake. Here is the information - • When: Saturday September 12th • Where: Cedar Creek Lake - Log Cabin Ramp - $5.00 Launch fee • Time: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM • Registration: 5:30 - 6:20 AM • Entry Fee: $60.00 per boat - 2 person maximumYou MUST be an RHBC member to fish this tournament. To join the Club you you will have needed to join the Club at our meeting this Thursday night at BPS Garland. Here is a link to the meeting information. Meeting InfoRegistration will be at the ramp starting at 5:30 on Saturday morning. When you register you will be given a numbered chip. You will need to to turn your chip in by placing it on the board to get your fish weighed. You will need to get your live well checked and a ribbon tied on to your trolling motor which must remain there until weigh in. You can then launch or trailer and go to your spot. No lines in the water until 6:45. Lines out at 3:00. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give members time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. The chip must be back on the board with the Tournament Director by 3:30. Weigh in will start then. If your chip is not on the board at the specified time, a 1 pound per minute penalty will be assessed. After 15 minutes your catch will be marked as 0. You will be called to the scales by boat number. Leave your fish in the live well until your number is called! Keep the water treated and your fish healthy! See you at the ramp! We would prefer you to wear a mask at registration and weigh in but it is not mandatory. Please keep your distance from each other at both registration and weigh in.

33 boats fished yesterday and it was tough. Only four limits were brought in. Duane Limberg and Ryan Lawson came out on top with 13.52 pounds. Brandon Putnam and Joey Deans had big bass with a 5.19. Full results and pictures coming later this week

It was a tough and frustrating day. We caught 6 keepers yesterday but only weighed in 8lbs. We caught about a half dozen short fish as well.
I tossed our 2nd keeper back in the lake by accident. I thought I might've had a stroke or something. I still can't believe I did that. We had 4 fish with only 30 minutes left and I finally caught keeper number 5 but it was smaller than the one I tossed back. Derp.

I'm sick. I lost a fish on the fifth cast that was easily over 8 and it was a grind after that. We threw our fish back and left at 2 thinking someone would have brought in 20 lbs....wow. Congrats to those that got a check and tuffed it out. Did anyone see the ski boat half way up the rocks on the dam? Entertaining to say the least.
