Man what a morning. They were busting a frog. It was fun. When the bite died I pulled off and was pitching a Texas rig brush hog when this bit. Took about 10 min to land it. Last fall I caught a 27 lber on Conroe on a t-rig trick worm, thought I was hung until it started moving!! It was a beast. Good time for sure.

I just knew I had a lake record this morning.... till the carp surfaced. Stripped drag in the winch like it was nothing. Carp are fun to catch for that very reason (not talking about snagging them, I’m taking about actually fishing for them).
