Correct me if I'm wrong but don't these (contract)players still get paid even if they boycott a game ?
Not much of a protest , is it ?
To all the boycotting players : you want to impress me ? Donate all that money to improving the communities that you're supposedly supporting . If they actually had stopped the playoffs completely, which is what a couple of teams like the Lakers wanted to do, it would have cost the players money. The teams earn money for advancing in the playoffs and big bucks for making it to finals. Even more for winning finals. I'm not defending their actions...
