Bryan Hughes from Let’s Fish TV Show had it as lake of the week for crappie. Not sure what day they fished it but it must be good right now.

Bassman 78 and I went there Saturday. we put in at the Dairy Hill boat ramp. went to the timber to the right of the ramp. I caught one keeper crappie. we tried a lot of the timber and that one crappie was all we could get out of the timber. There were kayak fishermen having the same bad luck,. we tired the bridge pillars and caught some throw backs and 5 more keepers.

my trolling motor quit working
and then the rope on the trolling motor broke
My rod tip broke for some unknown reason

From what I've gathered since, and it adds up to what was seen on the finder, is the fish were pretty scattered. Some brushpiles were likely holding some concentrated fish, but we had no chance with the wind and a dead trolling motor either way.

I’m going as soon as I return from Florida. I’ll have a report then. Next week sometime. Depends on the wind.

Been slow the last two trips for me. Best fishing has been on brush but mostly small fish. Water 82 degrees lake still down some. Fell like transition for most fish and should pick up (maybe it already has, I haven't been in a few days).
