Just tied up a new recipe of a bead chain clouser and needed to test it to determine if its good enough for a tying video.. and the answer is yes..

In April the white bass roam the north shore of Grapevine. I break out my 6 weight and homemade clousers. The clousers seem to get even more effective as they get ripped up by the whites.
