Went down to the river to fish for a couple of hrs to see what the gills were up too. They were a bit skittish but still got a few to bite.











All fish were released to swim another day.

Yesina...Very nice fish, & those sure are some white rocks...are they granite ?

I will hazard a guess for her and say limestone.

Thanks Vogey. The rocks are mainly flint and chert" but the reseading water left mineral deposits and turn white with the sun.

Now that's some skill Pot licker. To be able feel the bite and set the hook on a fish that size is proof positive

Thanks J-Moe! It was the first time fishing with 2lb line. That 2lb line is something else but great for casting tiny jigs
