I have a 20 year old Blue Wave 220 striper. It had carpet on the front deck and all the hatch covers.
The carpet was rotten and turning loose , looked terrible.

I decided to go with Tuff coat. It took two weekends ( I am an old and only good for 3-4 hours a day in this heat 😃).

I am very pleased with the final product.

The color came out close. , the pics look white, but it is a light gray,

Bring on some cooler weather, I am ready to fish.

The only place that was finished like the rest of the interior was the vertical section between the twin seats and the front deck, ( doesn't show in the picture.) I just cleaned that up the best I could with acetone. I will continue to work on that section , as there is still some residual carpet glue.
If anyone knows of a better solvent for removing glue on fiberglass , let me know.
the rest of what you see was just a flat gray primer over the fiberglass, 80 grit sandpaper on a orbital sander cleaned it down to the pink in short order.

thanks

My 2004 Lund is carpeted. I'm going to let it go another year or two then replace it. Since my main target fish is catfish and my go to bait is skip jack, the carpet is taking a beating. I plan to look at options other than carpet when I replace it. My previous boat was fiberglass floor that I cleaned with a power washer. It is the only thing I miss about it. Yours looks great, especially for a DIY project. I'm jealous.
