This is correct. Nobody actually dies of cancer either. They die of some sort of organ failure caused by cancer. Liver failure, lung failure, kidney failure, heart failure etc... The question is would these 180,000+ people still be alive had they not contracted COVID-19? To answer that question, we have to look at the total body count that has occurred this year. Since March deaths have been about 120% of our normal run rate. That's about an extra ~10,000 dead people per week on average.

I'm not sure what the big surprise here is. We've known since almost day one certain comorbidities dramatically increased risk. Obesity, heart disease, asma, 65+ etc... 43% of the US population over the age of 18 has one of these comorbidities. Clearly the whole thing has been politicized now. Clearly if you are young and healthy the virus doesn't pose much of a risk at all. Doesn't mean it hasn't killed a pile of people.

still to this day they can not tell you specifically how it is spread or how long it survives on surfaces at different temps. yet a mask will save you. yeah, right.
we were told that heat/sunshine killed it while at the same time being told we can't go outside and gather in a group of more than 6 or be arrested. yes, chitcago arrested folks along with other cities.
as this started we had bumblin biden, schlimer, peeloser and other liberal socialists calling Trump racist and xenophobic for halting travel from china, now he didn't do it soon enough. yeah, got it.
look at just how fast liberal/socialist mayors, governors suspended rights while no legal basis existed for them to do it, most sheeple went along to get along and still are.

like I have said a few times, too many "convenient circumstances" have occured this year, covid and then riots with both being blamed on Trump while the liberal/socialist cities burn due to "peaceful protest". yeah, got it.

deaths have been recorded as covid no matter the cause actually being, all it takes is a positive test and you died of the wuhan flu. follow the money and who is getting what for "help with the pandemic". who is trying to use this to fund cities with failed economies like nyc and chitcago etc.
look at the ventilator fiasco, used as a way to blame Trump when states had not maintained any for an emergency but had the chance to. Trump turned it on them and sent hospital ships, built field hospitals and sent ppe and ventilators yet the ships and hospitals were not used, ppe was, ventilators ended up being stockpiled due to not near as many needing them.


all the above is fact, someone prove to me that the left is not guilty of subversion and multiple homicides. I can wait.

The bottom line, there are thousands of Americans that have died from COVID 19. While it could kill on it's own, it attacks certain vulnerable groups harder and causes complications that causes them to die sooner because they contracted COVID. As the former head of the CDC stated this morning:

Whether he did or didn't, he isn't wrong.

We have always known that Covid caused those with a weak immune system or any number of other medical issues was a higher risk under Covid. Now we know that 81% or the people who died had medical issues.


How many of the 81% would be alive today if they had not contacted Covid. That is the question.
One that apparently has not been asked.
