May be a waste of time in the morning, but I have a friend that has recently bought a house on the lake. Tomorrow will be his/our first trip out looking for striper. Our plan is to catch shad and head to the dam. Any other suggestions (helpful) would be nice....Yes, we should probably go to Whitney but his boat is in the water in the backyard....

I went out there Tuesday and Wednesday. The sandbass were schooling both days under the power lines in striper alley early from 7am-9. I caught a few slinging a rattle trap but was really trying to find some crappie with the Livescope. Fished the standing timber around decordova bend but the crappie bite was tough on jigs.
