Anyone fish this lake? If you do, do you have any pointers? I was thinking about taking the boat and going up next weekend.

It's been a little warm lately and fishing has been slow from what I've heard. Around Arrowhead island is good structure and deeper water. Great population of walleyes if you can find them, plenty of smallmouth to be had. Largemouth can be difficult, but I've had good success with spinner baits on the edges of the brush-lines in the coves. South Canyon, North Canyon and Bugbee are great for fishing, once you get to Blue West you hit the beach and lots of boat traffic. I would be mindful of the wind, especially from the southwest.

What he said above. The water is hot and lots of boat traffic but you can catch fish with a little luck. Get a hold of Sharkens Honey Hole bait shop he can fill you in

Any recommendations on places to stay? It looks like Borger is the closest. I like the Super 8's because theyre cheap and you can park a boat out front.
