Prayers sent up from the Mid West for the safety of my Cowboy friends and fellow anglers as Mother Nature disrupts your lives again.

Last time the southern Louisiana flat boats came to Houston to help out. Hopefully some of our dudes can return the favor. Port Arthur and southern L are going to take it on the chin tonight.

Friend that lives in Lake Charles stayed and said it wasn't what they hyped it up to be. Storm surge wasn't near as bad as made out to be, but the wind did do some good damage.

Storms are unpredictable and random. It’s part of nature. Glad it turned out to be not as bad as people feared. 2020 continues to suck.

They were very fortunate the eye passed to the east of the ship channel so that the 100+ mph south winds didn't force a wall of water way upstream. Flooding would have been way worse.

I was in it on a boat. The storm wasnt nothing like what they said the storm surge was way off from predictions. Everybody in the area was extremely lucky it wasnt what it was hyped up to be.
