Local sports guy said players are meeting in about an hour and are going to decide if they are going to cancel the rest of the season. He seems to think the chances are very high that the season is over

I can promise I won’t be watching whenever they decide to play again. They are not doing themselves any favors!

The owners have a hell of a lot more money than most of the players, cut the paychecks and see who hollers uncle first. Its time to stop the tail from wagging the dog, in all sports.

I agree, but the Magic initially refused the forfeit. NBA brass really had no choice here. Enforce the forfeit and let the rest of the teams boycott and have your playoffs ruined, or postpone all games and try to appear to take it seriously by holding a meeting to discuss with players how to proceed.

This is the most interesting the NBA has ever been to me. Good luck to the players not destroying their season. What idiots.

So now the inmates are in charge of the asylum. Watch out the next time some kind of bargaining is taking place. You have given the power to the players.

Apparently there is a clause in the PBA that causes problems for player if they strike. Will be interesting to see how the league handles it. Based on postponing all games tonight, I think the league ignores that clause.

That would be incredible. And incredibly stupid. The league would make sure it never happens again in the next PBA. The players have more leverage than in any other league, and they’re pissing it away if the end the season, especially this season in this economy and general national environment.

I saw where Kenny Smith, a former player and sports analyst, walked off his set in the middle of the show in support of the imbecile players. I love watching a train wreck.

At least review the articles and video's. Tasers do not work very well on drugged up folks. If you had done a little bit of fact finding you would have seen that the taser had no affect on him. I guess you think they should have waited till he pointed a gun at them, or even till one of them was shot.
