The video on the weather channel is sad - they project storm surge at Lake Charles. Most of it will be 6 feet under water by tomorrow.

It’s looking like a cat 5 at landfall No eyewall is weakening, still gonna be bad, pray its only a 3 at landfall but probably will be a 4

I got out. Came to FW. Looking out at I-20W. Is it safe on the south side? I might have took my chances on the coast. Glad you made it out.

Lake charles is about to get it really bad. I know some people staying in beaumont and port neches. Going to be a wild night for them. There was a lot of people that were planning on staying but I bet a bunch left when it really started ramping up to a 4. I pray for everybody in the path of this thing. We have all our stuff in storage because we are in between houses. We went by there yesterday and that's when it set in that it could all be gone when we get back. It hurts when you think about all that stuff that cant ever be replaced
