Had a few things to do today so i played hookie from work and hit up lake arlington. Been out here a few hours now trying to hit these channel cats. Few bites but no hook ups yet. Running 2 rods with #4 treble hooks and some store bought dip bait. Hoping my luck changes before I have to leave. Will keep you all updated

Academy sells CJs punch bait or you can get some Stubbys as he is on this Forum along with his runningmate Littlewheel. I never had much luck with Catfish Charlie or the other commercial brands at Walmart.

Not this time I dont know that I plan on returning soon. Too many jetskiers midday and midweek i bet during the weekend (when Im normally able to fish) it gets riddiculous

yep.it s bad.. If I go I would go to a side where there aren't any. I may go soon and drop a bag of purina cattle cubes and see how that works
