I have used the Harpoon Frame for my fat head for years. I have been looking at the Permit model and wonder if y'all would have any input on comfort for a fathead like me.
My harpoons are still okay but I went to put the original glass lenses in them because my prescription lenses are pretty well jacked up but the frames now don't seem to want to snap over the original lenses. I assume the poly carbonate lenses and frames have distorted some how.

I too have a melon head sir, had a pair of Permits for going on 11 years now. They are definitely fat head approved.

X2 for the Permits. I'm 6'6" 310# with a head to match. Permits are a perfect fit for me.
It's only a good cast if you catch a fish... Personal Best: 11.62 lbs

Never tried permits but I would be classified as a fathead, too. I wear a 7 5/8 baseball cap. My costa frames are Fathoms. It wraps around my noggin like a pig in a blanket and feels good doin' it!

Costa Permits are the only frames I have found that fit my fat head. I canโt say enough good about them. I never used to wear sunglasses because they fell off, gave me headaches, or hurt my nose. I forget I have my Permits on. And they help catch fish.

Fit well but do not hold up due to rubber pieces coming off

God you guys are making me feel like I have a fat head too! Permits fit my face better than any other frame of theirs that I have tried on. They're almost like goggles, fit snug against my brow on top and my cheek underneath.

Chris, sunglasses are like shoes. They need to fit to be comfortable. My advise, try on before you buy and don't buy from picture alone. Look at Rincon, Reefton, Permit or Jose

I get that for sure but I just ordered on line for time sake, permits and fische one for boat and one for truck hopefully. I love the Harpoon they are just worn out I guess. I cant get the oem lenses to stay in them,
Whats funny is they are the ones I got from you nearly 20 years ago!
