We used to launch at Highport Marina & fish the islands at sun up. Did good, but after that...idk. That was a couple years ago too.

Got a room for the weekend at Tanglewood.. Gonna drop in a Highpoint and fish Friday night Saturday during the day and Sunday morning. I will let you know how it goes but I have never fished there either. Highpoint is right near the islands so gonna try there first. Any word on if they are schooling on top near the islands in the morning or evening? Gonna be vertical slabbing or throwing a rattle trap.

Lake is in the early signs of turnover you will see lots of small fish schooling early and late sometimes there’s good ones but lately it’s been a total mixture

Went out yesterday evening. Found several fast moving schools of juvenile striper throughout the evening in 14 to 20 foot of water and had fun catching them but no keepers yet. Spent most of my time on the south side of the islands.
