Hey folks. Was thinking of making a trip out that way and just wondering if anyone had spent any time on it here recently! Thanks as always for the feedback!

I was out there yesterday. I live nearby (about 5 miles). I seem to find that the lake is slow. I have run a few tournaments on that lake for a volunteer fire department, and we saw some decent fish around 8 or 9 lbs, but it is usually pretty hard going, even for some of the pros. I spent several hours out there yesterday without a bite. I am no pro fisherman, and am getting back into it. I don't know much about fishing for bass, but nothing bit in the 3 - 4 hrs I was on the lake.

Are you saying that the "decent" fish caught were 8 or 9 pounds? Or that the tournament was won with 8 to 9 pounds? 8 and 9 pound fish are way above decent to me! Ha!
