Have to decide which to get: Power Poles or Ultrex or Ghost? What would you do? Only one.

What electronics are you running? That will determine if you want full use of the Ultrex or Ghost.

Get the trolling motor. Either one.

Have to decide which to get: Power Poles or Ultrex or Ghost? What would you do? Only one. If you are bank beater then get the poles. If you fish deeper then a TM with spot lock feature is probably better for you.

Depends if you fish a shallow lake or deep lake. I think the TM’s are the handiest all around, brand is what you prefer.

Few lakes are just shallow or deep. With spot lock, I find I use my poles less anyway. I'd get the TM in a heard beat unless I was fishing shallow grass all the time like north end of Welsh. Best decision I ever made was buying a spot lock TM.

Power Poles are great for bed fishing and anchoring on bank while you eat lunch or park the truck. I could live without them, but would personally get Talons before PPs and I've had both. However, an Ultrex is one of the greatest inventions I have ever seen, in or out of fishing, better than sticky notes and the microwave!! Get the Ultrex for sure!!

If you don't have a trolling motor with spot-lock, I'd go with a new trolling motor every time.
I've used my talon a handful of times fishing, mostly use it when beaching my boat. But if I could only have my talon or spot-lock, I'm going with spot-lock and that's as easy of a decision as there is to make.
