Bored and with nothing else to do yesterday I decided to clean out and straighten up the ole tackle box. I'd say about 75% of the tackle in there wasn't even opened, and still in their original wrappers. Still, everytime I go to Academy for something not even fishing related I manage to leave with some new lures. Never fails.

Anybody else have the same problem? grin

Also, anybody have any ideas on what I could use to "re-oil" some of the old dried out plastic worms?

I have the same problem, lol. My motto is you can't ever have too many baits.
Maybe a few drops of Don Harper's scent would freshen them up???

I have 16 tackle boxes and when I fish I use a hook, egg sinker, and split shot most of the time. roflmao As for the worms, buy a new pack of powerbait worms, open it up and throw in your old worms. It may bring the old worms back to life.

Unscented baby oil with a couple of drops of Anise Oil added for extra attraction.

Admitting you have a problem is 1/2 the battle. I only have 1/2 the battle won also! 🤔😂

Powerbait lures DON'T play well when mixed with others!! Neither do the Z-tech baits.

I'd try some spray scents as mentioned above.

Buy a can or bottle of BANG in the scent you like best and spray it in the bags periodically.
