A question for anyone using the poison adrena rods. I’m wanting a heavy action rod and noticed they have a 7’2 fast and a 7’4 regular fast. I’m wanting a heavy action rod that I can use heavier weighted Texas rigs and jigs but I don’t want it to be a super stiff “broom stick” style rod. If anyone has any experience with these two rods can you give me advice on which one to go with.

Thanks

I love my Poison Adrenas (Adrenae? smile ) but I only have one casting rod in M/Mod and one spinning rod in ML/F. And they are sweet. Of course, they're Shimanos.

For heavy action rods, I have an IMX-Pro in heavy/fast and it's a great caster and not a pool cue. I also have a Megabass Orochi 6.-7.5 Tour Versatile that's heavier and I use for deep cranks like 6XD-8XD, etc. Both are in the price range of the Adrenas, around $300. They good too.
