Wellp fished Pines for the first time this year. Lake looked great, maybe a tad low but didn't check the water level. Fishing kinda stunk- only 3 non keepers and 1 miss. I fished a little in all 3 north side creeks and down by the dam and around the campgrounds. 2 of the 3 non keepers came on a chatterbait and 1 on a squarebill. I did try some deeper water stuff but they didn't want a crankbait and I didn't rig up a Carolina rig. Was a really nice day overall though to be on the water! Temps were 86 to start and 89-90 when I left.
