We fished the frio from the kayak yesterday and found plenty of rios willing to bite. We caught so many we lost count






We even had a few doubles
a few bass were also caught




A few gills

A gaspergou
Pot licker even managed to catch a crappie. I didn't even know there were any in there
As we paddled further we came to a beautiful swimming hole. It was hot and we couldn't resist
It was such a fun trip but the cherry on top for me was another record rio
All fish were caught on our handtied jigs and released to fight another day

Thanks Chuck i agree the rio bite is on 🔥 i also have noticed clouds of rio fry swimming around their protective parents. Another reason to practice catch and release
