we were shooting doves a few years ago in Argentina there were couple farm houses near where we were shooting...typically our bird boys pick up all the birds but this particular day they had plenty of help....other picture is typical swarms of doves near any feed lot in the Tucuman area (northwest Argentina)...

yes.....they also furnish a lot of birds to old folks homes,orphanages and poor families in nearby villages...

Is there a limit on doves in Argentina ?

I doubt it, they look so scarce in all the Argentina dove hunt pics I’ve seen.

But really, how much bird hunting do you have to do to kill a limit. From all the pics I’ve seen all you have to do is shoot your gun in the air and they’ll fall. I’ve NEVER seen dove like that anytime I’ve dove hunted.

There is no limit there.. Except your bank account..

It isn't just shoot in the air and ten fall.. You still have to pick a bird.. I've tried the flock shootin' and usually hit a lot of air..

It is not uncommon to kill a couple with one shot..

The number of birds is unexplainable till you see it..

this might have been the most doves I've ever seen in 17 years of hunting down there....this picture does not do the number of doves justice....this cloud of birds stretched as far as you could see from from horizon to horizon......there were 16 of us shooting that morning and pretty soon everybody just stopped to take pictures and just marvel at the huge amount of birds....
