In this video I show you how to bait for channel catfish. We just picked a random spot and dumped the chum. Within minutes we were catching fish. Although most of the fish were small you can see just how effective baiting a place can be. Hope y’all enjoy!

Wow great job and thanks for the video! Few questions I have, what kind of setup were you guys using? And is it possible to replicate this process from the bank?

We basically were using a short Carolina rig setup. Small weight, swivel , leader and treble hook. I prefer to use #6 treble hooks . I seem to use less bait and catch more fish with them. All those small fish would knock all the bait off a bigger hook. And yes, you can do it effectively from the bank. Just use a slip cork to keep the bait just off the bottom or if you prefer use shad or cut bait. Hope this helps.

Fork is about the easiest lake to catch eaters when its hot outside.We have been killin um in 38ft water fishin 32ft.I use sour grain (wheat and milo) I just cant figure them out in the winter

I could drive to fork. It is about a 2 hour drive ..I wouldnt even know where to go on that lake.I could just pick a random spot
