Hi everyone, the sand bass fishing has been really good at Eagle Mountain lately! The fish are moving fast right now with the water temps being high but we are still putting at least 2 limits in the boat every trip. The fish have really been firing up good with the late morning winds that we have been having. Trolling has been working best for us but I do know of some that are doing good on slabs as well. This will still be consistent for a while and if anyone would like to learn how to catch these fish, or wants to just have fun catching a bunch of them, you can reach me by calling or texting the number below

what parts of the lake are you finding them in?

Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, he'll be gone every weekend.

I used to fish EML when I lived in that area. We would find them all over the lake. Our usual hot spots were the open water south of Pelican Island, the waters off Twin Points and Roeser Park, and Carter Slough.

We usually launched at Harbor One, and a lot of times we never even made it out of the no wake zone before we found schools of sandies.
