Talking with a guy at the ramp, says I'm an idiot for not modifying the outboard to disconnect the direct oil injection and going with mixing the oil in the gas.
I may well be an idiot for other reasons but I'm not so sure I'm an idiot for the reason above.
What say TFF?

Guy at the ramp is the idiot. Lubrication system on DI motors isn't the same as old smoky 2 strokes and cant be bypassed or disabled.

I'm guessing the people who design and build these motors probably know a little more than some guy at the ramp.

first be sure which one ya'll are talkin' about?.. big difference in regular oil injection and "direct" oil injection..............
