My buddy got a boat and we want to go after the sandies and hybrids. We got slabs. We are new to this. Do you tip the slabs with anything? Also, where is a good place to start looking? How deep?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

It will be money well-spent to hire Phil's Guide Service for a teaching trip to show you where to find them and.how to catch them.

Very good advice. The lake has been difficult to catch on lately. 5 trips in two weeks and catching very few. Thumper and splaser using artificial baits, hasn't been very productive. Not sure if its the heat or the crazy boat traffic.
