Crappie fishing has been great out West lately! At Hubbard, we have been able to put around 2 limits or more in the boat most days. PK is a lot more tough but there are still some nice crappie to catch if you put in the time. We've been doing good to put 20 keepers in the boat at PK but the size has been nice. Minnows have been working best for us in deep water but jigs have been producing too. If you'd like to learn how to catch crappie on these two lakes, or if you'd like to just catch a mess for a fish fry, you can contact me by calling or texting the number below.

I might take a trip to learn some PK tricks after it cools some. Right now, I'd pay money NOT to be on PK in 100 deg plus heat. Came in at 11 pm this week after night crappie fishing and it was still 103 deg F based on my car's thermometer.

So, how do you keep all those big PK bluegills off those minnows? If I catch a half dozen I'll have 30 big perch to go with them.

I appreciate it! Sounds good PK. Some spots have a few bluegill mixed in with the crappie but most places we have been finding the crappie mostly only have crappie. SK, I agree! Those big bluegill have been going in the cooler.

I eat them SK. There way to many of them to ignore. Not sure what it is about PK that makes huge schools of perch but this lake is the perch champion. There's some nice crappie mixed in too.
