Maybe this is old news and I just missed it, but according to a post by Wesley Strader on Facebook, the powers that be are adjusting schedules so that MLF guys can fish FLW Pro Circuit again next year. I thought this was just a one year deal due to covid. I wonder how the FLW guys feel about this? One one hand it makes it way harder for them to win events. On the other hand if they keep the pay structure of this years super tournaments, it substantially increases the number of places to get a check. One thing is for sure it makes the FLW standings and Championship structure look very odd with a bunch of guys competing that can't qualify for the championship or factor into the AOY standings. The evolution of the MLFLW marriage seems to get more odd every day. With that said, I enjoy watching the super tournaments more than anything in professional bass fishing right now. So bring it on I guess.

My $.02, they let them fish next year in both because they are still under contract to have the bpt. After next year the bpt goes away and they go back to the way it was before the bpt.

I'm not a fan of it. Thought they should stay separate. But no one cares what a guy behind a keyboard thinks.

This was released awhile ago and it initially said the MLF guys will be allowed to qualify for the FLW championship next year since it will be the entire schedule, IDK where I saw it but it did say they would be eligible for the 2021 FLW TITLE but not AOY points

Why would BPT go away

Why would it go away, 3 year contact with bass pro isn't renewed and BPT and FLW merge into something else MLF. MLF is not going away though unless the whole thing goes belly up.
