Drop shots, c-rigs, and shaky heads won the day. All fish 10" and up count as well as slot fish. Only their best 5 count. Boaters First Place went to Tim Gold of Mineola with 7 bass for 14.75 LB. with a 3.62 LB lunker. Second Place went to Randy Bunch of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 10.54 LB with a 5.08 LB lunker.. Third Place Galen Smith of Alba went to with 7 bass for 10.36 LB with a 3.16 LB. lunker. Fourth Place went to Don Overstreet of Sulphur Springs with 8 bass for 8.87 LB with a 3.02 LB lunker. Fifth Place went to Curt Blount of Lake Fork with 4 bass for 8.78 LB and the boater lunker of 6.89 LB tied with 6th place. Sixth Place goes to John Womack of Winnsboro with 1 fish for 6.89 LB that turned out to be tied for Lunker. Co-Anglers First Place went to John Berech of Garland with 1 bass for 6.64 LB. which is the co-angler lunker. Second Place went to Jackie Price of Alba with 5 bass for 6.18 LB. with a lunker of 1.49 LB. Third Place went to Matt Webb of Dallas with 3 bass for 6.13 LB. with a lunker of 4.31 LB. Fourth Place went to Bob Lambert of Lake Fork with 3 bass for 5.66 LB. with a 2.49 LB. lunker. Fifth Place went to new member Mike Kelley of Yantis with 4 bass for 5.08 LB with a 2.68 LB lunker.. We caught 85 keepers today which was more than last time with 2 skunks. Fish were caught from one foot to 30+. The LFA fishes every Thursday except T-Day and Christmas on 2 different formats. A 5 fish limit we call LFA and a MLF style format where every fish counts we call Hard Core, 3 special tournaments and an end of year dinner. We are a club of 55+ seniors (Mostly) and are very liberal on members being for off vacations and medical issues. Right now we are looking for more co-anglers.
