My first trip to Weatherford, and I can see why everyone is down on this lake. Not much around that looked "fishy" but there is definitely a lot of offshore depth changes. We only fished 3 hours and spent 1/2 that time running around and looking. Caught 2 small fish on a crankbait off a rip-rap bank. Didn't fool around with the offshore stuff at all but I will next time out when I have a bit more time. FWIW ... I was the only trailer in the lot. Guess there's a reason for that, huh? Boat ramp is great but could use more available docks for the launch.

Thanks for the report. I would try the bubblers by the dam next time you go.
