The main reason you've never seen an Ally on the Lake is Ken was running 11K Rpm's and thrown a half mile rooster tail.

OUCH! I would totally put a 250 on the back of the .204 model. It’s a pretty light boat so it still outta push 75+ easily and I don’t need to go 95+. You really don’t even often have conditions on the water suitable for that speed during tourney days it seems. Cool? Yes! There's that word again.... "Need" Many of you have heard me say this: There ain't nothing about the sport of bass fishing that has anything to do with NEED!! Except...when "I really NEED to catch an Over" denny

Brian Dodge posted this on his FB page. The 2021 Ballistic .204 w/Mercury 250 Pro XS is up for grabs. With as many as I have on order this will be the only opportunity to get one before my next in stock order is scheduled to arrive in December. All the other boats before after this one are sold and in build stages. Call 931-698-3498 And no don’t believe everything some the guys post these can be bought in the 70k class or as much as 110k. Your wallet, your options, you pick your own goodies and go front there.

That was Brian Dodge's 223 with a 400R Verado and some kind of 5 blade cleaver. Ballistics are rated at max hp of 300 so that one would be illegal in many tournaments. Insurance is probably very high for it if you can find someone to insure it.
Edit: I saw the boat sticker on Jackson's boat and it said unlimited. I was going by the Ballistic boat site which said RECOMMENDED HP. My fault.
The Allison 21 footer is doing a little over 105 with a 300, 95 with a 250XS.

Pretty sure the prop is a Mercury Max 5, only retails for about $2500

makes perfect sense a tournament bass boat that runs over a hundred mph an illegal to use in most bass tournaments I love hearing this argument. Check "most" of the big tournaments in Texas.... Sealy, Berkeley, Bass Champs, TTT, TTZ, Media, and on, and on, and nobody says anything other than what the Coast Guard plate says. I'm not sure why some guys get so butt hurt that many of us like a bigger motor. It doesn't mean you're a bad fisherman. It just means we are going to get there faster. If you fish BASS or with Johnny Morris, great. Buy a 250. But otherwise you can fish with what ever motor you want. J

J I like to have as many horses as I can get, don't always use them but they are nice to have.
