I can understand the need for the dress code. Without one can you imagine what some of those kids would or wouldn't be wearing.

And I'll go on the record that the kind of nonsense we are seeing is going to go on long after the china cold has left the building. What this massive, failing in front of our eyes experiment has shown is a large part of our society are so moronic and so easily pushed around that government can basically do anything they want. We will be here this time next year talking about more stupidity that stems from all this. What this pandemic shows is many Americans are selfish and undisciplined. All of this "transformation" of our country to communism and marxism must have you orgasmic, Komrade Greg. You should be thanking china for this plague that they negligently spread unto the world. Don't even start to blame any of this on Americans selfishness, it is a diversion to accepting your marxist views. This may work with your mush-headed gullible teen students, not here in adult world. Be an adult and place the responsibility where it should be. The virus was containable in the early stages. Trump fumbled the federal response for political purposes. Other countries have controlled the virus and are getting back to normal. It is out of control here. 10th amendment. This has turned into a nation wide "katrina" and has sure exposed failing governors who are responsible for the citizens of their state, and failing mayors who are responsible for the citizens in their cities. I think I'll start calling them all "Nagins".

Looks like some districts are telling their students they cannot wear PJs, shorts, hats etc in their own homes during class hours. More craziness from politicians, elected officials etc thinking they have some actual power now to dictate things. Im sure its aimed at the girls and their sports bra's... It doesnt seem like its that big of a deal to slip on a t shirt since your only going to be visible from the waist up anyways.

And let's not forget the median age is increasing so I would expect it follows that the death rate moves up as result.

This virus is political. Period. 165,000 Americans died to make Trump look bad. CHINA. C...H....I....N....A. China is at fault. How shallow are you to look at 165K deaths and be oh so distraught when your team will kill 800K babies each year. But this fits your communist manifesto doesn't it. You already have the khaki outfit. Do you think you will be a member of the ruling party when full transformation occurs? From Politifact: "Abortions: Abortions are reported on an annual basis. The latest figures, from the nonprofit Alan Guttmacher Institute, are for 2017, when there were an estimated 862,320 abortions. That’s an average of 16,583 per week, or 132,664 over eight weeks It’s worth pointing out that an abortion is an elective medical procedure, something that cannot be said for someone who is afflicted by contagion and dies."

Be an adult and place the responsibility where it should be. The virus was containable in the early stages. Trump fumbled fought against the liberal demotards to shut down inbound traffic as soon as he could legally, the federal response for political purposes. Other countries have controlled the virus and are getting back to normal. It is out of control here.
Do I really have to go frame grab all of the text and photos of your illustrious nimwit leaders like Pelosi in chinatown no masks, telling people to come on down, or the cries of Chucky about how unfair to shut down travel from your beloved china? Pathetic is your hatred for this country that gave you the freedom to earn a living writing papers and distorting the minds of children.

Seems silly on the surface, but how do you enforce it if a girl decides to wear a sports bra or a bikini or whatever, if you've told them the dress code doesn't apply? Curious.... Common sense seems like the obvious solution, but my wife is a teacher and I can tell you with 100% certainty that common sense doesn't apply in the classroom. too bad for the HS guys who won't get to see chicks in those super short shorts and sports bras. They are the real losers here.

And let's not forget the median age is increasing so I would expect it follows that the death rate moves up as result. They think a Fountain of Youth vaccine is in the works and the elderly will stop dying.

China is not responsible for the federal response. Pelosi is not in charge of the federal response. Schumer is not in charge of the federal response. Abortion is an example of Whataboutism. Feel free to defend each of Trump's statements about the virus on the timeline I posted.

Go Bob!
also, I understand the point on 165K deaths......but those would have happened on anyone's watch and in I would opine many would have passed of (insert any reason here)
IE the regular death rate numbers are holding. (so natural attrition ? )
We have severely and grossly over reacted, over reached, over empowered , and most of all OVER POLITICIZED this gift to the world from CHINA
