My buddy had one before he upgraded to a bigger Ranger. It was a good boat. 17' footer though so typical small boat woes.

They’re solid. On a boat that old biggest thing is check transom, hull and where cap connects. They’re big heavy boats like a nitro. Won’t win any races but if in good shape It should be a solid boat.

I picked up a Super Pro 200. Solid boat with typical wear. Few stress cracks here and there. For most part I like it so far. Waiting for a motor. The newer then better like normal on most parts. If it has the newer touch panels if they go out u will have to cross them over to rocker switches

I have a 97 Pro 205 with a 225 mercury efi on it. Boat is solid and has been well taken care of. It runs mid 60’s with two guys and full load. I can’t complain about it for being 23 years old.

I have a 96 205 Pro that I've had since it was new. Solid boat. Had no issues. Like others have said it is a heavy boat but is a good solid stable platform. If they were still in business I would have no problem owning another one.

Casting for cash : what motor do you have on yours? I’ve been trying to get mine to run a 3 blade prop. After some working with Steve’s prop shop out in Quitman I was able to get it to run one, but as soon as the water temps got up in the 80’s I had to go back to the 4 blade to get it to get on pad.

Have a 99 180 dc bought new no complaints. Tracker bought them out in the 90s because of competition to their nitro

bought one new in 94 and fished out of it for 17 years with very few problems. Most were associated with the 150 merc. After a while fishing bigger deeper water in the south went to a 20 but not a procraft.
Well built boat.

Merc 225 EFI. I'm running a 4 blade Tempest 25 pitch. I'm satisfied with the hole shot (understanding its a heavy boat, I'm a big guy and carry lots of gear). Top speed is in the mid to upper 60s which is plenty for what I'm doing. Certainly not going to win any races but she has always got me there and back.
