Headed to mother forker to let Slade set up the electronics this Friday, so I'm fishing it hard Sat and Sunday. Heard there's quite a few "rona" cases in that area. Burnin Stump is where I ususally stay. Still open? Any other places that I should avoid?? Thanks!

I got bedbugs at a hotel down there 12 years ago. The establishment is closed now. I have no input on the virus question.

One of the guides I spoke to a few weeks ago said he and about 20 of his church members got it. And it's a SMALL church down on the southwest end of the lake.

You can look up current exact numbers in Texas counties on this site. I think that area has been less affected than most. Numbers are not crazy high there.

I live in Ft Worth (North Richland Hills). My Wife and I (71 and 64) go to Fork to escape the Co-19 risks.
I have a RV in an almost all senior occupied park. We fish from 8am til about 2pm when we are there, no covid
out there...We eat breakfast at Oak Ridge in a very good environment, isolated table, masked employees. and
I feel safe there. I shop at Minnow Bucket, in and out, ... There are very few places where there are concentrations
of groups of people if you want to avoid them. Yes, there's Walmart and Brookshires groceries, and Fast Foods in the
area, and surrounding cities...but overall, I'd rather be there than in Ft Worth...I can avoid people at the lake, mostly...
be there Thursday,... fish

I figured as much Jim! Just gotta be extra careful as my wife has some pretty serious underlying health issues that could be pretty bad if she gets it. Thanks for the Burnin Stump info. I've always liked that place. Since Rainswood closed I think Oak Ridge has the best burgers around the lake. Haven't been down there much the last 2 - 3 years, but that's what I remember.

My wife is a Breast Cancer survivor, and is constantly being monitored, her immune system is checked monthly.
So I know what underlying heath issues mean to us. I'm better at the lake, than being here, and we are very cautious
here. Being retired we can pick and choose when and where we go so thats a blessing.
Enjoy your trip,....look deep.

Sounds like you should stay there until the rona is over with.... or 14 days after your last exposure to anyone?

I thought you lived on fork, or had a place there?
